One of Kingmoor’s large ‘catch’ of Crabs, 42748 pictured at its home shed, was allocated there for almost two decades, from December 1941 until July 1959. It is in early 1950s condition with twin air relief valves, 10in cab numbers, 5MT above and coal railed tender with lining extending to top edge of tanks allowing the use of the large size BR emblem.
