2926 plods up the West Coast main line at Brinklow shortly before nationalisation. It was shedded at Speke Junction from May 1947 until November 1948 and kept its LMS number until September 1948. 2926 has 12in cab numbers and its bufferbeam has been repaired using snap head rivets.
