Taking a break just outside Lichfield Trent Valley HL Station in Staffordshire, ex-LMS 'Crab' 42896 catches a glint in the evening sun. It has paused for water whilst in charge of the RCTS 'East Midlander No.6' rail tour from Nottingham Midland to Crewe and return using a 276-mile convoluted route! Sunday 13th October 1963.
