42795 1959 Saddleworth

From 1959, this is a scene little changed today. Ex-LMS Hughes/Fowler 'Crab' 2-6-0 No. 42795 rolls across the elegant viaduct over the River Tame at Saddleworth in Lancashire. It will shortly be faced with the daunting Standedge Tunnel on the journey into Yorkshire. 42795 was built at Crewe as LMS No. 13095 in Nov. 1927 and withdrawn in Nov. 1966
