E3025 1960-09 Manchester Piccadilly Station

BR Bo-Bo 25kv Electrics class '83' No. E3025 (pilot) and class'82' No. E3049 (train). E3025 built by English Electric Vulcan Foundry in July 1960 and E3049 built by AEI in Aug. 1960. Both were withdrawn in July 1983 as TOPS Nos. 82002 and TOPS 82003 respectively. Manchester Piccadilly Station in September 1960 is the scene, with new 'EM3' and 'EM2' class Electrics awaiting departure.
