Scott Barrett confirms the location "The location of this image is a little north of Ryhope Grange junction passing through Grangetown, the rail junction to Hendon and South Docks just on the right behind the photographer. The wagons at the end of the train are likely just passing under the road bridge linking Grangetown to Hendon and the abutments can just be seen to the right of top of the last wagon in the distance".
