The warning tripod has a new battery powered flashing lighs as NER Q6 0-8-0 No 63455 crosses the A182 at Fatfield Road LC, Washington on 9 June 1967.
It is heading up the mineral line to Washington Colliery just a couple of miles away with empty hoppers. It was withdrawn less than a fortnight later and sold for scrap to Garnham, Harris & Elton,Chesterfield, in August 1967.
