BR Standard 3MT 2-6-2T No.82041 on 18th February 1962 is immaculate in the lined green which Swindon managed to apply to many of the Western Region tank engines in the late 1950s instead of the black in which they were previously painted. It was built at Swindon in June 1955 and had the same Swindon No.4 boiler as the GWR �5101� and �56xx� classes. At the date of this picture it was allocated to Bath Green Park on the Somerset & Dorset Joint line, and so may have been running-in after repair at Stafford Road Works. Although officially withdrawn in December 1965 No.82041 was observed on a Bath Green Park to Bristol service on 1st January 1966.
