82023 looks as though she may have been pressed into service on pilot or banking duties here at Exeter St. Davids and is probably moving down to couple on to the rear of a Central bound working . In addition to a stud of more regular pilot and banking engines a number of suitable locomotives were also used as and when required to assist something up the bank when no regular banker was free, such engines also being engaged on sundry shunting and station pilot duties here at St. Davids.
