BR standard 3MT 2-6-2T No. 82029 at Penrith on 27th May 1955. It went new to Darlington in December 1954 and along with No. 82028 was used on the Darlington-Penrith trains until the service was taken over by DMUs in January 1958.The running-in board said Penrith (for Ullswater Lake) at the side facing the bay and simply Penrith for Ullswater on the other side.
