45530 1962c Tring -

LMS Rebuilt Patriot 4-6-0 No 45530 Sir Frank Ree recorded as with the 12.27pm Euston-Manchester London Road passing through Tring on 18 July 1959. However the train is standing on the Up Fast with stopping train headlamp and suburban coaches. I think this is probably a Rugby to Euston stopping service. It is also carrying overhead electrification warning signs and is allocated to 1A Willesden which dates it to either after June 1961 or July 1962.

The coach in the background with the door open is branded Chief Signal Telecommunication Department Engineers Dept. Willaston
