LMS Patriot 4-6-0 No.5530 Sir Frank Ree at Euston in 1938, was one of 13 Patriots which covered over 80,000 miles in a calendar year. It achieved 80,477 miles in 1936 while allocated to Camden. It also recorded over 70,000 miles in each of the following two years.
This may be a static display as there is a gap between the second and third carriages with somethng sticking up - it may be the latest in 'mechanical handling' equipment doing a demonstration as a couple of people appear to be watching.
