Edge Hill 8A allocated Patriot 4-6-0 No 45538 Giggleswick leaves the 1894 bore of Standedge tunnel in heavy rain with a down express from Manchester in the mid 1950s as men work above rebricking the portal. It had left Edge Hill by September 1957.
