LMS Patriot 4-6-0 No 5547 passes Tring with an up semi-fast for Euston in 1947 it appears to be still in red livery.
Note the mail pick up board (black and white checkered pattern) on the left. as well as the complete pick up and drop off apparatus on the right - complete with shed for the GPO men!
