Ivatt 2MT 2-6-2T No.41227 arriving at Kettering with the Northampton motor train on 11 October 1962. It was built at Crewe in October 1948 and allocated to Warwick; it had a vacuum controlled regulator for working motor trains. After moving all over the country during the 1950s, No.41227 was transferred to Wellingborough from Annesley in March 1962 and moved to Leicester in May 1963.
