41280 1952 Fleetwood shed

41280 1952 Fleetwood shed

Came as Crewe but Vic Smith and I are not convinced this is Crewe, its first visit to Crewe Works was May 1954. Looks like it is standing out front of Fleetwood shed, with old Laundry building on Copse Road behind bunker.
Three VCR-fitted Ivatt 2-6-2Ts went to Fleetwood in October 1950, 41280-41282, and were used on the Fleetwood-Blackpool motor trains, replacing three former L&YR 2-4-2Ts. 41280 has a 28B Fleetwood shedplate which would have been changed to 24F after April 1952; it stayed there until June 1954 when it moved to Blackpool.
