Six of Eastleigh’s allocation of Ivatt 2-6-2Ts and two others were transferred to the former GWR shed at Weymouth in Autumn 1963. They worked as station pilots, as shown by 41261 on 27 March 1965, and on local passenger and freight and latterly the Weymouth Quay 'tramway'.
