41243 waits at Highbridge in 1963. It was always on the S&D, at Bath Green Park from new in 1949 until 1962 and then Templecombe for its last three years. The Ivatts were used on the Highbridge branch from around 1959 until its closure, displacing the Midland 1P 0-4-4Ts or 3F 0-6-0s after the Western Region assumed responsibility for the S&D.
