41232 on a Wellington train in one of the bay platforms at the south end of Crewe station on 19 April 1962 alongside a DMU working a Shrewsbury service. 41232 and two others increased the stud of Ivatt 2-6-2Ts at Wellington in 1960. The shed was transferred from the Western to the London Midland Region on 31 December 1962.
