41316 ready for departure from Swanage in 1965 had been transferred to Bournemouth in September 1964. Two of the Bournemouth Ivatt 2-6-2Ts worked the branch during the day, with a third one on 5.0pm through train from Bournemouth Central which, after arrival at Swanage, worked two evening trips to Wareham, and then ran light to Bournemouth shed.
