41206 was one nine Ivatt 2-6-2Ts transferred to Templecombe in mid-1965, arriving there from Plymouth Friary in June. Here it was working a southbound train at Cole, south of Evercreech Junction on the line to Templecombe.

Peter Kerslake says "An attractive portrait of 41206 heading down the Somerset and Dorset line here at Cole, 29 miles from Bath and mid way between Evercreech and Templecombe, with the little station in the background, served by most of the passenger workings although any goods traffic was limited to a few coal wagons and not much else.
The site of the former three road goods yard and its tracks from both the main lines is the land on the right of this view and above the two coaches with a 1962 photograph clearly showing the goods facility and lines still in position, but in this 1965 image all traces appear to have vanished, unless they are obscured and hidden from view by the train, as has the little signal box which had been on the left of this picture, although it looks as though the base of the former 'box is still in place, just ahead of the platform on the northbound track.
Perhaps, therefore, due to its limited use the goods yard was taken up between 1962 and 1965."
