After the withdrawal of Nine Elms’ BR Standard Class 2 tanks two Ivatt 2-6-2Ts arrived there to work on the Waterloo empty coaching stock duties. In April 1967 they were joined by three more which had worked on the Lymington branch including 41319. All except one of them saw out the final days of Southern Region steam working in July.
