Shortly before it was withdrawn in w/e 3 December 1966, 41204 was used on the Manchester Rail Travel Society ‘Three Counties’ railtour on 26 November. 41204 worked the train from Stockport to Buxton, where it is pictured filling up its tanks, and then to Manchester Central via Millers Dale, Chinley and Cheadle Heath.
