On its way to Sheffield Midland possibly for station pilot duty, No 41246 passes Millhouses shed on 19th April 1960. Being a ‘youngster’ built as recently as October 1949 did not prolong its existence which ended in October 1962 by withdrawal at the tender age of just 12 years and 11months.
