There is a very strong probability it was working a Walsall - Lichfield City turn, the 1.59pm from Walsall, returning from Lichfield City (SX) at 4.44pm to Wolverhampton High Level. On Saturdays the train went through to Lichfield Trent Valley station, and then returned as Empty Coaching Stock to City.
