41294 1960s Southwater station

41294 1960s Southwater station

This is just leaving Southwater Station on the Steyning line, heading north towards Christs Hospital. The white house behind and to the right of the engine still exists and had a corner removed (still evident!) when the railway was built. The bridge still exists but is separated from the road system. Now part of the Downlink bridleway.

41294 was at Brighton from April 1963 and then Guildford from May 1964 until June 1965.
