LMS class 2MT 2-6-2T no 41244 pases the No 6 box with a train for Chester General in c1951.
In this scene J.D Mills is facing southwest towards Saltney, he's actually standing in the four foot of one of the spurs that served the carriage sidings south of No 4 Box. No 41244 was a Rhyl allocated machine in this period, so we assume it's on a local from Rhyl but is definately from the Holyhead line.

The girder bridge in the middle distance carries the Great Central Lines into Chester Northgate which is over to the left well out of shot but its engine shed is immediately behind the smokebox of the Ivatt.
