GWR 3100 2-6-2T No 3103 waits to leave Cardiff General on 18th March 1958 with a local train made up of one of the three GWR articulated 6 coach sets (2 x 3 coach half sets) built in 1925 to reduced roof profile. The last duties of these sets were outside London around Bristol and South Wales. Two sets were withdrawn in November 1957 and the last (coaches 9813-8) in July 1960, so it is this set seen here.
