A pity that the photographer hasn't given us the identity of this " Castle " , but it has arrived at Paddington earlier on the 7.45.a.m. from Hereford and Worcester , the " Cathedrals Express " , resplendent with its splendid headboard.
The engine has been uncoupled , and its stock is moving out of the station to Old Oak carriage sidings with the " Castle " about to follow it out to Old Oak Common Motive Power Depot.
That looks like an interesting Army wagon over on the taxi road , is it a Bedford , and is that a Lanchester or a Vauxhall behind it ?
