BR 2MT 2-6-2T No 84029 recorded as leaving Chilham with the 4.25pm Ashford to Margate train on 26th September 1959. However Alan Goodwin says "I believe this is the 4.25pm Margate to Ashford train, not the other way round.
The bridge over the Great Stour south of Chilham station crosees the river at right angles as seen here, whereas the bridge on the Canterbury side crosses the river at quite an acute angle".
