A really good shot including both rail and road bridges taken from Normandy Hill bridge , named after the Normandy landings on quot; D.Day quot; in memory of the many American Marines who marched down over it on their way to France to the slipways below on this side of the Tamar .br/ Saltash station is just visible in the far left background and the earlier single line tablet exchange post has now gone with an ATC ramp in its place instead.br/ The park on the right is still a fine spot for a bit of lineside photography , but you can't park as close to the tracks today ,there being a car park up on the right
