6910 1946-04-11 Boat of Garten MPD

The late Henry Casserley was probably Britain's most prolific railway photographer, traveling the length and breadth of these Isles. in April 1946 he has arrived in the Scottish highlands to photograph the smartl little 2-road shed at Boat of Garten. Ex-Great North of Scotland Railway William Pickersgill 'T' (LNER 'D41') class No. 6910 is coaled and ready for its next duty. 6910 was built by Neilson Reid of Glasgow in Feb. 1898 as GNoSR No. 110 and was withdrawn in January 1947.
