Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad '3700' class 4-8-2 No. 3728 (pilot). Built by Baldwin circa 1921 and withdrawn by 1955. AT&SFRR '3129' class 2-8-2 No. 3144 (train). Built by Baldwin in 1916 and withdrawn by 1954.

Not only is there this magnificent April 1936 sight of these huge AT&SFRR locomotives double-heading through Lamanda Park in Pasadena, but just look at that array of period automobiles on the right. This really must have been a sight (and sound!) to behold.
