Highland Railway Jones '32' or 'Ske Bogie' (LMS '1P') class 4-4-0 No. 88. Built at Lochgorm in April 1895 and withdrawn in December 1926 still as HR No. 88.

This David Jones design for the Highland Railway was fairly archaic by the late Victorian era. Nonetheless, the nine built performed very satisfactorily on the route to the Kyle of Lochalsh for which they had been designed. Note that heat from the firebox has caused blistering to the paintwork, a common occurence with some liveries.

Restored from an original period 8"x10" print.
