How do I buy a photograph?
Firstly you have to become a Registered User by clicking on the Sign-up panel and filling in the Sign-up form. You must provide a valid and unique email address because this provides the means of delivering your images. Once registered, you can add your selected images into your personal Shopping Basket.
To complete your purchase you must have sufficient money in your Account to cover the total cost of the items in your Shopping Basket. You can then click the Purchase Images button to buy the images and then go to My Account and select the My Images icon to download your photographs from our database onto your computer.

Can I make copies of the images?
When you Sign-up to Rail-Online you are required to accept our copyright terms. In essence these allow the buyer to use the image personally on their own PC or laptop. In addition the licence permits the image to be printed for personal use. The licence specifically does NOT allow the purchaser to share digital or printed copies with others under any circumstances. Can I use a photograph in a book or magazine?
Any Rail-Online image can be purchased for publication in a book or magazine providing it is bought for that purpose when put into the Shopping Basket and therefore at the correct price. Each image may only be used once and must be purchased again for any subsequent use in the same or another publication.

Do I get a discount for bulk purchases?
When you add money into your Account you receive a discount which depends on the amount of money you pay in:

How do I know which new images have been added to Rail-Online since my last visit?
The Home Page always displays thumbnail images of the latest three photographs added to the site. Click on View All >> under the right hand image in the central New Images panel to see a complete history of every image, ordered by date added, since the site began.
