The images don’t display properly on my PC
We currently support Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and Mozilla Firefox 2 and 3 browsers. We recommend using 1024 x 768 display settings for your screen, but we are unable to check how each user’s individual PC is set-up.

When using the Rail-Online site we suggest you use the F11 function key to hide the browser navigation “clutter”; to restore this just hit the F11 key again.

How do I navigate round the site?
The Rail-Online site works in the same way as most Internet sites which means you can navigate by clicking the various hyperlinks from one page to another. If you are not sure just click – you won’t do any damage! You can also use the standard Back/Forward buttons at the top left of your screen to move to and from earlier pages you have visited.

The pages do not open new windows in the browser when you move to them BUT please note that when you click a thumbnail image to enlarge it you do open an additional window – remember to close this with the standard red cross close button at the top right hand corner of the new window when you have finished with your selection.

When you do an image Search the results may comprise several hundred images. The number of images returned by your search criteria is shown at the bottom of the Search results page. Each page contains up to 9 thumbnails; each subsequent page is available by clicking the page number at the bottom left of the results; the current page number is highlighted in red. Click the >> symbol to go to the last page.

If Download Accelerator Plus (DAP) is installed on your computer this will interfere with the normal download mechanism. You will need to disable DAP until you have completed your downloading.
